Scholarship and ROTC Awards

The chapter's drive to provide three scholarships and fund ROTC awards for 2006 is underway. Visits to Veterans Hospitals

Every year we go to area Veterans Hospitals in the month of February. We deliver flowers and a word of encouragement to those that have served our Nation and are living in the hospital complex.

Legislative Action

Contact is maintained with State and National Legislators and members are encouraged to correspond with their representatives in Jefferson City, Topeka, and Washington, D.C. A list of Congressmen and Senators with contact information is available here (500KB).

Representation at the MOAA National Convention

A member of the executive council attends the National Convention to represent the Chapter. All members are encouraged to participate in this event.

Summer Picnic

Our July Meeting is a Picnic held at the Richards-Gebaur Reserve Air Station in Grandview. We enjoy some fantastic food and have a great time.

Holiday/Christmas Party

Our December Meeting is an evening Party held at the DAV Building. We have a night out and enjoy some seasonal entertainment.
